Registration for the September 2025 to July 2026 academic year is now open.
Please create an account on https://bloc.vectare.co.uk to sign up your children to BLOC.
After creating the account you can create your children as passengers within that account. Finally you can then book your journeys.
Please note that if you are on pupil premium you will need to email info@blocbus.org after creating the passengers, as we can then classify them accordingly to adjust the charges.
Journeys can be booked as before and bookings are now open for full-time and part-time users. People on split arrangements can book full-time and part-time journeys across multiple routes.
Direct Debits are still in the process of being configured and you will receive an email once that has happened to set up your Direct Debit.
Please note that despite our best efforts the system is new, so if you spot any issues please let us know at info@blocbus.org .
All current and new users will need to complete a registration form to apply for a seat. Seats are allocated in order of priority according to the rules of BLOC:
- Current Full Time Users
- New Full Time Users
- Current Part Time Users
- New Part Time Users
Please note that many of our buses this year are at or close to capacity which will limit part time place availability.
Please see the new user FAQ for more information.
Confirmation of Seats
Your place is not confirmed until you receive an invoice and pay according to the instructions below!
Everyone who has registered has been sent an invoices for the Autumn term. If the invoice is not paid on time the seating request will be cancelled and offered to any new applicant.
Any waiting lists for the 2024/2025 academic year will not be transferred – you must reapply when registrations open.
Reception to Year 3
Children in Reception to Year 3 must also let the school know that they are taking the bus. See the school transport page for more details. This process is independent of registering for BLOC – you must register with BLOC and inform us of any changes – the school cannot confirm places on our buses.
The school also issues this advice for Reception children:
The school strongly advises that new reception children do not travel on the bus until they have acclimatised to the long school day. Reception bus travellers wait nearly an hour at the end of the school day for the buses to leave and this is in addition to their onward journey time. If you are at all unsure, we urge you to wait for the October half term. We of course leave the decision to you, the parents who know your children best.
Journey times to the end of routes, particularly in North Oxford can be over an hour with bad traffic.
Reception parents need to decide to either:
- register and pay for the full term in advance to confirm a seat, or
- wait and register during the school year if seats are still available.
