🚌 New Users – Getting Started with BLOC
Welcome to BLOC! This page will help you get your family set up on the school bus service quickly and easily.
BLOC runs 5 bus routes between Oxford/Abingdon and Europa School UK (ESUK): Routes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 11.
The other routes serving ESUK are operated by the Culham Bus Club (CBC) — we’re unable to help with those routes.

- Create an account on the same website
- Add your children as passengers
- Book your journeys — full-time or part-time

Types of Travel
There are three options:
- 🕖 Full-time (FT) — both morning and afternoon
- 🌅 Morning only (AM)
- 🌇 Afternoon only (PM)
Full-time users are prioritised over part-time users when capacity is limited.
Seat Allocation Priority
When buses are full, seats are allocated in this order:
- Current Full-Time users
- Current Part-Time users
- New Full-Time users
- New Part-Time users
- Ad-hoc bookings
⚠️ Several routes are at or near capacity — we strongly encourage early booking to secure your place.
💰 Current Fees (2025/2026)
Costs reflect the shared price of hiring buses across all users.
| Autumn Term | (other terms lower) | |
|---|---|---|
| Full-time | £530 | ~£410 Summer Term |
| Part-time | £320 | |
| Single journey | £7.50 | |
| Driver booking | £9.50 |
Expected annual full-time cost: approx. £1,350–£1,400
Autumn Term is the longest term, so fees are higher. BLOC subsidises approximately 10% of transport costs to keep fees as low as possible.
